Why asphalt

Re-roofing in Massachusetts requires a building permit. We hold a Construction Supervisor License (CS-118483) and pull it for you.
Every old layer comes off. We never shingle over — it hides rot, adds weight and shortens the life of the new roof.
With the deck exposed we can see it properly. Anything soft, delaminated or rotted is replaced before we go any further.
Ice and water shield at the eaves and valleys, synthetic underlayment over the field, new flashing at every wall, chimney and skylight, then the shingles and ridge vent.
The old roof is hauled away the same day, the property is magnet-swept, and we walk the finished roof with you.
Ventilation
A roof that cannot breathe cooks its own shingles from underneath and turns the attic into an ice-dam factory every winter. We check intake at the soffits as well as exhaust at the ridge, and we tell you if the balance is wrong before we shingle over it.
